students will conduct research on the impacts of climate change in the most vulnerable regions and sectors of Somalia, the potential for adaptation and mitigation, natural resources management, and realization of environment related sustainable development goals. The program.
which starts in every September, with 70 students, will be hosted by barawa international university and will be taught by highly qualified professors/lecturers with PhD from internationally recognized universities.
Conditions for Applications
Candidates must be:-
- Citizens of Somalia Holders of Bachelors Degree in any one of the following areas:
- Environmental Science, Environmental Education, Natural ,health science ,Resources Management,Geography, Geology, Meteorology, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Agriculture or rangeland management.
- Younger than 35 years
- People with high proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English language
Benefits
barawa will sponsor the expenses of the successful candidates which include their tuition fees and full scholarship winners and living and transportation costs only for full scholarship winners.
